CHESHIRE CUP & CHESHIRE SHIELD 2022

The Cheshire Shield Competition has 19 entries this year plus potentially five clubs from County League Div 2 and 3.

This year clubs from Div 2 and 3 of the County League that entered the Cup will drop into Round 2 of the Shield if they lose their Round 1 game.

This means the Cheshire Shield draw cannot be made until after Round 1 of the Cup is completed and it is known which of the five Div 2 and 3 clubs will drop into Round 2 of the Shield if any. 

So the Round 1 Shield draw will be made on May 23 when the number of Shield clubs is confirmed and the games will take place on June 12.
