Nantwich progress to Lord's final

Defeating Ormskirk by 3 wickets gives the Dabbers a final at the home of cricket on Monday 16th September

After defeating Liverpool Competition side Ormskirk, Nantwich now play Swardeston of the East Anglian Premier League at Lord's in the 40 over final.

Batting first after winning the toss, Ormskirk were restricted to 170, Oliver Griffiths 2 for 13 off 8 overs and Philip Stockton 1 for 20 off his 8 overs

A 120 run partnership for the 3rd wicket between Henry Dobson (55 off 91 balls with 8 fours)and Ryan Brown (75 off 91, 11 bounadries including 2 sixes)took Nantwich to 143/3. With the scores level Nicky Caunce took 2 wickets in 2 balls, before Griffiths and Stockton combined to score the winning run.
